Every product-driven development organization has a product team. But when things “go Agile”, that team is often under-considered as part of the transformation. Everyone seems to be focusing on the technical aspects. But product play an incredibly important role and needs a first-class seat at the enterprise agile transformation table.

Join Nicole Dwyer, as she shares her experiences in building high-performance, agile product teams. She’ll share on establishing & building the team, running agile without product, underestimating the need for a scrum master, the need for predictability in the backlog, how to get the executive team involved, and keeping teams safe from external distractors. Nicole will also explore some of the keys for product organizations at-scale (distributed teams), the role of the CPO, and the importance of organizational goal-setting and alignment.

Nicole Dwyer is Chief Product Officer at YayPay a predictive AR workflow solution that leverages data and automatic payment communications to accelerate cash flow.  For the last 10 years, Nicole has worked with both accounts payable and accounts receivable technology firms building product strategy teams to improve the entire payments life cycle.  During this time, she was able to successfully transition delivery teams from iterative unpredictable models to highly effective agile organizations. 

She has over 15 years of experience working with corporations and banks to provide a deep understanding of the varying expectations of the market and associated end users when interacting with software systems from locally hosted to cloud based.  Nicole resides in PA with her husband, daughter, and son.  They spend their time outdoors and creating new adventures.
